responsibility to care and maintain your vehicle motor sport generally belongs to the owner. So you’re ready for fun weekend before and you will find that there is a small puddle of oil under the engine of your Dirt Bike, Utility Vehicle, off road go kart, ATV, motorcycle or scooter. This never happened before that if? You are not too mechanically inclined you can check it out and look at the owner? Manual S for some answers or worst case scenarios to try to find a nearby mechanic who knows what to do. Usually when something like this happens it is something smaller, but should not go neglected because it can lead to spending way more than necessary care for a small problem before it turns into a big one. It may simply be a broken seal or something loose for that matter. Whatever is to take care of it immediately. So now you have a leak fixed and you go to start your Dirt Bike , motor scooters or motor sport vehicle and the beast will not start. Because not ridden for a month, guess what, the battery is dead. One of the best ways to keep this from happening is to keep the battery connected to a trickle charger or a battery tender type to fully charged. There are different types that can be bought. These are available for as little as under 0.00, but I would recommend spending a little more to get one that stops charging once the battery is fully charged so you do not overcharge the end and ruin it’s life. Most motor scooters, motorcycles, dirt bikes and ATV will work on 6 volts battery. New cars and off road go karts can run on battery even more so make sure you are aware of the size, especially if you decide to run your battery from another vehicle. Be careful, as it is so important to read the instructions that come with your jumper cables so as not to cause damage to your battery or physical injury to themselves. These are just a few tips for keeping your motor sport vehicle whether it is a Dirt Bike, scooter or any other kind. Next time we’ll discuss why you should clean your Dirt Bike or motorsport vehicle at any time after driving and how to keep it clean the easy way.
