Here at VillarrealSports.com, we have always liked Shaq and crushed Kobe for Bryant's moronic decision to break up the Lakers dynasty because of his outsized ego. You pretty much never get a guy like Shaq as a teammate, so when you do get him, you better get down on your hands and knees to keep him.
Bryant couldn't do that. Not only did he not value O'Neal, Kobe basically forced the Lakers to trade either Shaq or him. One or the other was Kobe's stance.
The Lakers chose Bryant, and it is no surprise there have been no rings since for the Purple and Gold.
Meanwhile, Shaq led the Miami Heat to a ring in 2006. No Kobe, no problem.
But if you're Kobe Bryant -- and you're sure as HELL not Michael Jordan -- no Shaq, huge problem.

John and I get asked all the time which one of us is which. Particularly with the work we do on the internet, there is a lot of confusion over who is Paul, who is John and who has which background and such.
After answering the same questions seemingly thousands of times we decided to make a video to help clear up any misunderstandings which there have been. After watching this production, things should be a lot clearer.
I also have to add that John is a 3-time National Powerlifting Champion and I am not. This is another point of departure between us two.

jgilmore has added another article which concerns a rumor that is picking up steam across the internet: The Democratic Party doesn't care if Obama can't win in November, they just want his new voters and especially the $$$ he has brought to the party.
I have heard this story repeated several places and it seems to have evolved from the stonewalling which Senator Clinton received when she began making calls to gage her support following the final primaries in Montana and South Dakota.
If the rumor is true -- and there is plenty of circumstantial evidence to suggest it is true, such as any electoral map one examines -- then the Democratic Party hierarchy is going to face an even greater revolt than the one which is currently underway that seeks to defeat Senator Barack Obama in November.

Can he recover and will Democratic superdelegates stand by a man who has garnered approximately 660,000 votes fewer than his opponent since March 4th?
We have our doubts. And if the Michelle "Whitey" tape hits, this primary could devolve into an out-and-out free-for-all.

America doesn't like whining, spoiled jokesters who make $4.2 Million the previous year then saying that they want anyone -- including the sitting Vice President -- to "give (them) something."

For all the haters (read: paid Obama bloggers/Internet thugs) many things to keep in mind:
1.) First and foremost this is a spoof (as in joke) and clearly labeled as such in the same vain as Chris Rock, Chappelle, South Park, Richard Prior and Carlos Mencia who all talk about politics and race in comedic joking terms.
You think it's great when it's your side. Well, it works both ways. It's a joke it's entertainment! This is why we made it you all have no sense of humor!
2.) However, this video is NOT about race -- sorry. I know YOU make everything about race but it's not. You label anyone who does not vote for Obama and swear that he will solve the World's problems day 1 a racist! What a joke!
Sorry, not going to work here friends. I laugh at you! Who should I have used to portray Michelle an Asian woman? Ridiculous. This video was making cultural points (being rich & "elite" yet "hard" w/ "street cred" & "ghetto fabulous") not racial ones dorks. I have seen people of all races act that way.

9.) Obama's threat was a joke! As an American, I don't respond well to threats (particularly from Obama bullying punks) and respond with appropriate doses of FREEDOM, LIBERTY, and HUMOR.

Bluegrass State delivers 250,000 vote knockout for New York Senator
The victory is Clinton's second straight of greater than 35 points (She won West Virginia by 41 points on 5.13.08).
Kentucky eliminates Obama's win in North Carolina by essentially matching the net gain in votes for Clinton that Obama received in the Tarheel State. At the time of the NC victory, it was widely assumed that Obama had held off Clinton's push to win the overall popular vote, but West Virginia and Kentucky have scrapped that prognostication.
As expected, the exit poll information proved devastating to the presidential aspirations of the junior Illinois senator.
Obama was found to be less trustworthy than Clinton (64% said HRC was trustworthy; only 47% said the same about Obama. Also, a majority said that Obama is untrustworthy -- 51%), and only 33 percent of Clinton supporters said they would back Obama were he made the nominee. The primary-long voting racial divide was once again evident, with an almost unheard-of 9 out of 10 blacks supporting Obama and 7 of 10 whites backing Clinton. Apparently paying little regard to the staggering percentage of AA's voting for Obama, the derelict MSM was in full "Kentuckians are racist" throat after Clinton's win. No word on whether these cries of "racism" were directed to Obama's 90% AA backing.

Despite having months to traverse the commonwealth and use his supposedly-formidable campaigning skills, Obama was definitively rejected by those in the Bluegrass State.
With Clinton's wipeout victory, she now maintains her overall popular vote lead in the primary contest in spite of the results of the election in the highly-liberal -- and far less demographically relevant -- state of Oregon.

Obama received another jarring statistical setback on Tuesday, as did those superdelegates who have -- at least so far -- decided to back the Illinois Senator.
In newly-released Survey USA (SUSA) polls, Hillary Clinton was shown defeating John McCain in North Carolina by 6 points while the man who just soundly claimed victory in the Tarheel State -- Obama -- was shown losing to McCain by 8 points: SUSA: Obama has crashed in North Carolina
This data is incredibly damaging to Obama for several reasons:
1. It completely renders Obama's North Carolina victory meaningless. In the all-or-nothing voting held in November, primary results and proportional delegate hauls are irrelevant. The word is out: the 'great win' by Obama in NC was nothing but a ruse masking November electoral disaster should the Dem elite choose the weaker Obama over Clinton.
2. It puts the lie to the idea that Obama can put states in the south into play against McCain. Even with exceptional demographics for him (latte liberals, AA's) in the state, Obama still cannot carry it against McCain, who has a majority of the votes in the poll (51%).
3. The poll shows that the Dem who will open up the south is Clinton, not Obama
Like last Tuesday, this was a horrific night for the deteriorating Obama campaign: Overwhelming loss in KY (a state with highly relevant demographics to those of swing states like PA and OH), incredibly unfavorable exit polling data from that election, forced to start his Iowa "I'm the nominee" party early to try to hide the 250K loss to Clinton in the Bluegrass State and abysmal, argument-shattering poll numbers from a state which supposedly put Obama over the top but which now leaves him completely exposed for the scam that he is running about his purported electability.
Barack Obama's candidacy has been in free-fall since his misleading February string of wins which included victories in a number of Black Belt states. Since reaching those faux heights, scandals involving Jeremiah Wright and calling small-town voters 'bitter' have rocked the Obama Camp and turned a beaming, confident outfit into a shell shocked, excuses-making unit desperately looking for a way to turn the tide.
Tonight was not to be such a game-changing night for the fading Illinoisan or his dwindling nomination hopes. Regardless of the outcome in the liberal Democratic state of Oregon, the stories on this evening were the quarter-million vote triumph by Clinton in Kentucky and the tale of the extremely damaging North Carolina polling.

It now appears increasingly likely that Hillary Clinton will win the overall popular vote. Such a triumph would then bookend what will be her assured popular vote victory among registered Democratic voters.
Many of Obama's supporters had for some time bellowed about how the Democratic elites -- the superdelegates -- should not be allowed to over-rule the will of the voters.
Now with their man looking to lose the popular vote, what will the Obama backers do? How do they try to challenge Clinton's supremacy on this metric without looking like opportunistic hypocrites?
This is the latest problem for Obama's ever-worsening campaign, an outfit which has been on an increasingly-downward trajectory since February and Obama's racially-tinged, "fool's gold" winning streak.
The query of how Team Obama can possibly square-up it's staunch earlier position on allowing voters to decide the contest versus now trying to say that the popular vote is meaningless is a question that demands a legitimate answer.
Even if Obama and his seemingly-cultish backers prove incapable of providing one.

This is insane!
As a World-class athlete myself this makes me pissed as I know this will directly harm legit unaided athletes who worked their whole lives to be at the Olympics.
Here is a Q: If the "Blades" aren't big performance enhancers then why doesn't he run in his normal prostethetic legs? What's next? Can I lift with bionic arms? Can robots now compete? Can I take the Subway in a marathon? How about compete in the 5K with a bike?
Somewhat similar technology is available to normal athletes (as stilts per the video above or on the bottom of shoes (although they don't get the weight savings that Oscar does)) should they now be allowed to use this? If so, what does that mean for the old WR's which will be shattered?
Stop with the dumb sympathy & think about it. The guy already has lots of fame (and likely $) and World records in the Paralympics. He was never a World-class runner before (heck he wasn't even a runner!), yet all the sudden from nowhere now he is & is shaving massive times of his marks (does this coincide with each new model of his Cheetah specially designed performance prosthetics? He is on version 3 now. They keep upgrading these pretty quickly.).
What does that tell you - unfair mechanical & weight saving advantage!

Barack Obama, would-be presumptive Democratic Nominee had his WORST showing of the entire campaign, receiving only 25.7% of the vote in West Virginia.
This humiliating showing outpaces the 26.25 Obama received in Clinton's home state of Arkansas.
No word on whether or not Obama will drop out of the contest tomorrow due to this almost-unfathomable poor showing. Stay tuned.
This is exactly what the Clinton campaign needed to do, and boy did they do it.
More to come later, but this is an absolute BLOWOUT by Clinton. It is a good thing that Obama is far, far away from this out-and-out destruction that will be reverberating in the weeks to come.
If anyone thought that white working-class voters were going to be told what to do by Chappaquiddick Ted, Haughty John Kerry or the Pusillanimous, elitist Chattering Class, West Virginia said emphatically: "We vote, you talk."
Disaster for the Obama camp tonight. As I said recently, "Hell" is about to be unleashed on Team Obama.

Note by John D. Villarreal: I did not make this video, nor do I endorse it. I think Paul and the Hillary (or Anti-Obama) supporters may be getting a bit too carried away. My main issue is that the analogy to Hitler & other cult leaders is weak at best. Calling someone a cult leader does not make them a cult leader, let alone Hitler! I would caution the Hillary supporters that you don't want to blow your credibility by going over the top. People call figures on my side of the political isle Hitler all the time (Bush, Cheney, Rove, etc.) and I think that is meaningless and not helpful to the political debate either. There are plenty of reasons to vote against Obama without creating some out of thin air. I don't see Obama as Hitler at all, far from it. Now, that being said, I do think the video brings up interesting points to consider. Mainly, investing too much power into a great political speaker who is long on passion and empty buzzwords (hope, change) and short on specifics. I think it is also dangerous to hold these people up on a pedestal, we all put our pants on one leg at a time. I respect great leaders, but ultimately it is the American People who do the work day in and day out. Obama is just a man. Even if he gets elected he won't transform your life, YOU will if you do the work. Thus, the video makes good points that there is great potential danger in investing too much power without questioning into any political figure, particularly with messianic overtones. The video also makes a good point at the end, which I have said repeatedly, that the only way to end racism is to look BEYOND race. Thus, it should not matter that Obama may be "the first African-American President." I am not saying that people can't feel some pride in that, but if that is too much a factor, or the main factor then that IS a problem. Particularly when his supporters are unaware of, or don't care about, his policies. That is dangerous. I don't think it is anywhere near Hitler, but dangerous nonetheless. It should be noted that many radical left-wing regimes (Castro, Amin, Chavez, Adid, Stalin, Mao, Pot, etc.) all begin "for the people" and talk of hope and change before the reality hits. The reality is that in order to enact those changes it takes power and control of the people which means loss of freedom and liberty & such regimes can become quite oppressive. Also a funny thing often happens on the way to such change. It becomes more about the politician's power and less about real positive change. In any event, the video is well done technically and raises interesting questions & things to consider even if I disagree with the tactics and conclusions. So, props to Paul on that & we try to bring you different points of view at VillarrealSports & will take bigger chances than most in promoting free speech and open debate, while striving to keep it reasonable and responsible. HUGE win for Clinton in Indiana. A far more meaningful victory (in her opponent's backyard) than Obama's "perfect Barack demographics" triumph in North Carolina.
Both candidates did what they needed to do tonight, but this tie goes decisively to Clinton.

The video itself continues to explode on YouTube. It now has been seen on all 6 inhabited continents and in 90 countries. It has over 8,000 views in little over 2 days since it was posted. More than half of those viewings have come from outside of the United States.
What this says to John and myself is how much demand exists to learn more about the guarded, protected Barack Obama. It speaks to the level of disservice much of the American mainstream media has done not just to its domestic audience but, in fact, to the world in its absolute refusal to even attempt to vet Senator Obama in lieu of instead fawning over him.
Though John and myself join millions of other Americans and international citizens in lamenting this reality, we recognize the opportunity which it provides VillarrealSports.com to provide the antidote to the fluff 'journalism' being provided by the Chris Matthews, Campbell Browns and Tim "Teeny-Weeny Rus" Russerts (yes Tim, we know your wife hates the Clintons) of the American mainstream media. These failures are only exacerbated by the equal genuflecting going on at sites like Daily Kos, Talking Points Memo and MyDD.com (when Jon Singer is writing) in the direction of Obama.
VillarrealSports.com is still in its infancy, and we have not yet reached the stage where we are able to fully devote our time to producing content. That time will be coming soon, however. We are working feverishly to accomplish that goal. Still, we are 100% committed to bringing you, our readers and viewers, THE best, most thorough information regarding Barack Obama. I have studied and have tremendous respect for the Islamic faith. The "Islam" mentioned in the title of this video refers to the more radical, fundamentalist strains. The most well-known among these is Wahhabism, an offshoot of the Sunni version of Islam.
Many members of Al-qaeda are reportedly Wahhabists. All the nations of the earth can run into problems with their religious fundamentalists, as anyone familiar with the Branch Davidians could tell you.
That said, David Koresh never posed the level of danger which Osama bin Laden does today.
Our next president has to be someone we trust, someone who is not overly concerned with appeasing all comers to the exclusion of safeguarding America and her citizens.
Though I disagree with John McCain on many issues, I know where he stands on defense and the War on Terror.
I am also quite comfortable with the national security credentials of the senator from New York who helped oversee the rebuilding of New York City in the wake of the terrorist attacks 7 years ago.
That leaves one presidential hopeful to be dealt with as regards (radical) Islam, terrorists and terrorism. He is the subject of VillarrealSports.com's exclusive new video.

This is it; this is our last best chance to make sure that this contest gets to Denver (or else Barack is forced to quit the contest after being humiliated in the Black Belt state of North Carolina).
If you lurk on this site and you have been waiting for an opportunity to contribute here or in some other way to Hillary’s efforts, now is your time. There is no time to waste, and no way of overstating the criticalness of the next five days to the outcome of this Democratic nomination race.
The DNC and Obama’s campaign knows this as well. That is why they had Ofraudma and Michelle go on the in-the-tank NBC Networks’ Today show and why BaCrock will be appearing on Meet the Punk with “Lil Rus” Tim Stoop Russert.
This is also why Pelosi, Dean and the DNC is trying like hell to push SD’s to come out and back BaCrock now. You can be assured that more of this will continue in the next few days as they try to influence the voters in NC and IN to vote for their Golden Calf Candidate. Similarly, it is why Mr. “I kicked Alice Palmer off the ballot in 1996, that’s right, the same Alice Palmer who once had groomed me to be her successor and is now campaigning for Hillary Clinton”) Ofraudma (AKA the guy who brags he is “an election lawyer”) is trying to take down the 527 who is opposing him in NC and IN.
In summary: This is now an all-out sprint to the finish for the 2 Tuesday elections. Anything anyone who is for Hillary and/or against Barack can do now, this is the time to fire your volley, so to speak. There is no more time for holding back or else it will be too late.
We have ALL the momentum; every SINGLE poll (even the BS NBC “let’s try to influence and not record public opinion” poll shows the straight-up flight away from BaCrock) reflects this [Chuck Todd, you are a farce]. Travis Childers, Dem Congressional candidate in MS, is running ads SPECIFICALLY to distance himself from the toxic Ofraudma. The NC, MS and LA state GOP parties are either running or preparing to run ads against Obama as we speak (and these efforts are drawing tons of media coverage as well as HUGE $$$ from GOP donors in support of the ads).
Sites which have totally sold-out to Obama like Obama, to paraphrase Al Sharpton, sold-out to ‘The Man’ over Sean Bell are freaking the *blank* out: Daily Kos is in panic; Josh “LIEberman” Marshall and his TPM is flustered; Jonathan Singer of MyDD is trying to hide behind Chaz Todd’s stilted poll. Honestly, I would not be surprised if NBC and Todd released a new poll bi-daily each diem between now and Tuesday. They are freaking out.
This is where we stand, overall:
The elites of the Dem. Party (Kerry, Kennedy, Dean, Pelosi) and the elites of the mainstream media and blogosphere (Matthews, Russert, Cooper, C. Brown, Larry King, Markos, Marshall, …) are going to throw every last kitchen sink, compact automobile, boxcar and small building at the Clintons in the next 5 days that they can. Anyone who is suspected of not being on-board with Obama will be directly or indirectly referred to as a racist or racist-to-be. Prepare for this, because it has already started and will be heightening by the moment through the close of Tuesday’s polls closing in the two key states.
This is the MSM and DNC elites vs us, the average Americans who stand for taking back our country from the Bush Administration (Note: JDV is a big Bush fan. He kept us safe from the terrorist punks (uh, where would be be if malls and airports kept blowing up around the USA? Just ask Isreal what that's like, but hey, who is worried about Iran getting nukes right? Obama sure isn't!) and cut taxes to help get the ecomomy strong after the tech crash. Spending was too high though, Iraq could have been handled better, & a few other problems, but I give Bush big ups for a job well done in hard times!) and who don’t want to give it to a pliable, and suspect, political neophyte like BaCrock, who the Axelrods and Exelons think they can play like the proverbial marionette on the strings if and when they are able to snow the public and get Ofraudma into the Oval Office. America does not want this, particularly after 8 years of Shrub.
Now is the time to wreck the elites’ plans. But we can only accomplish this with all hands on deck. We have 120+ hours to go, and if we execute properly we will have taken a Godzilla-sized bite out of the to-do list necessary to get Hillary Clinton into the White House.
The Obama internet astroturfers are weakening. Their attrition is evident to anyone working the ‘net the last few days. Now is the time to land the decisive blow and drive them back into their troll dens like the Russian Army did to the Axis at Stalingrad. As a historian, the first thought that springs to my mind is that it is time to funnel Obama and his media and DNC elites into their own version of the Korsun-Cherkassy Pocket.
Now is OUR time. If you ever wanted to write one post, pen one letter to the editor or let MSNBC know how furious you are with David Shuster calling Chelsea a whore (in effect) or Chris Matthews telling a female anchorperson to come closer to the camera, this is your call to action. It has to happen now.
My brother and I have our own plans to actualize this weekend in order to help defeat the Obamaian/DNC/MSM Axis. Most will be taking place on our site but we will be working other sources and channels as well. You all know I am in 100%.

If we are able to take North Carolina and win Indiana by double digits, the Axis’ metaphorical walls of Jericho will come crashing down faster than you can say “Pennsylvania.”

Rush Limbaugh, serving as Supreme Commander of a movement he has labeled "Operation Chaos," has brilliantly encouraged his listeners to switch parties from Republican to Democrat in order to be able to participate in the remaining (closed or partially-open) Democratic primaries.
Commander Limbaugh's orders for Pennsylvania were to vote for Hillary Clinton in an effort to keep her in the primary nomination contest and to weaken her rival, Barack Obama.
This had a huge impact in the Keystone State and helped seal the win for Senator Clinton. Estimates are that up to 10% of her support in PA came from Operation Chaos voters. The mainstream media has missed this &/or intentionally buried it so as not to give credit to the power of Rush and his listeners all while playing up the "new" Democratic voters and the "excitement" on the Dem side - yay - lol!
Oh there was excitement all right: Excitement to beat Obama! And beaten he was, badly.
Congrats to Rush Limbaugh and all the brave Operation Chaos voters fighting the battle on the front lines!!
